Snake warning issued for Wyndham

WYNDHAM residents are being urged to be on the lookout for snakes with the weather heating up.
Acting Premier Rob Hulls issued the warning to all Victorians last week.
Last year 197 Victorians were admitted to hospital after snakebites – 20 more than in 2006.
Wyndham is home to the venomous common brown and tiger snakes, and people should be wary around watercourses and long grass.
