A PAIR of sports clubs in Wyndham Vale and Werribee were burgled within two days recently.
Last Monday, between about 2-2.30am, thieves broke into a sports club located near Galvin Park, off Shaws Rd, in Werribee.
Police said the offenders “have ransacked the kitchen, pulling out contents of the fridges and spilling the trays onto the floor” before fleeing when the alarms went off.
Between 6pm the day before and 6pm on the Monday, a Wyndham Vale sports club in McGrath Rd was broken into when offenders forced open a roller door.
After finding no cash in the club’s till, they escaped.
“These sporting clubs belong to the community and are used by the community,” Senior Constable Fiona Reid from Wyndham Police said. “So if you know someone who can provide information please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000”
