SINGING, dancing, eating and exercising are just some of the exciting activities Wyndham City Council will have on offer as part of next month’s Seniors Festival.
The Seniors Festival promotes a positive attitude to ageing in the community and aims to encourage seniors to stay active and engage with their local community.
Deputy Mayor, Bob Fairclough, said the festival was a great chance for Wyndham’s seniors to try something new or catch up with old friends.
“Wyndham is home to over 24,000 people aged 55 and over, which represents approximately 15 per cent of our population, so it’s great to have a series of events that celebrates their contribution to our community,” Cr Fairclough said.
