YOUTHS have assaulted a man after he left a pizza shop with his family in Werribee.
The victim left the store in Watton St at 7.30pm on 21 February.
Werribee Police Constable Bryn Heaphy said the man was involved in a dispute with a carload of teens. He suffered a serious head injury after a verbal exchange.
The two who assaulted him and then fled south down Wedge St.
Police want to speak with the driver of a silver VN commodore with registration QTR.
One was described as being 18 years, short, thin build, wearing backwards cap and having tattoos on his arms. The other, in his 20s, had a European appearance.
It follows the unprovoked attack of a 46-year-old man in Hoppers Crossing.
The man was walking down Dowling Ave when he was cornered and attacked by two males. One of the youths punched the victim to the right side of the face.
