A STATION wagon was set alight and vandalised outside a house in Werribee last month.
Police were called to Grouse Court following reports a white Commodore station wagon had been torched.
Sergeant Pat Spezza believed an accelerant was used to start the fire.
“There was fire damage to the rear right corner panel and the right rear tyre was burnt,” he said.
“The window was smashed and there was minor damage inside the vehicle.”
Sgt Spezza said one of the neighbours was approached by a male after calling the fire brigade.
He was described as 17-18 years, Caucasian, blond hair and wearing jeans and a checkered jacket.
