Way of the Warriors

HOPPERS Crossing’s under-18 players celebrate their WRFL grand final victory on Saturday after defeating Altona 11.13 (79) to 10.7 (67). It was a fitting finale to a season dominated by these two teams, who both only lost one game during the season. Hoppers Crossing burst out of the blocks with a four-goal-to-one first quarter, but Altona kept coming at Hoppers, resulting in a classic, tense grand final. Thomas Jehle kicked five goals for the Warriors while Bradley Comeadow booted six for the Vikings. 70580 Picture: KRISTIAN SCOTTHOPPERS Crossing’s under-18 players celebrate their WRFL grand final victory on Saturday after defeating Altona 11.13 (79) to 10.7 (67).
