WERRIBEE residents have been warned to be on the lookout for false advertisements of non-existent goods in local papers and online.
The announcement follows calls from Werribee citizens reporting a scam advertisement for a caravan.
‘Con artists are advertising anything from puppies to concert tickets, cars and, in the most recent scam we’ve identified, caravans,’ Consumer Affairs Minister Tony Robinson said.
