THESE children from the B-24 Liberator Youth Association were flying high after getting some new clothing recently. Point Cook’s upcoming estate, Kingford, is being built by Peet Limited, which has supplied the youngsters with new team t-shirts. The youth association is part of the team working to restore Australia’s only surviving World War II B-24 Liberator aircraft. Peet Limited managing director and CEO Brendan Gore said the company was pleased to be supporting the group. “The new community has been named in honour of aviation pioneer Charles Kingsford Smith, and we were pleased at the opportunity to support a group that shares Kingsford Smith’s passion for aviation,” Mr Gore said.
