WERRIBEE’S CBD will be the focus of a community forum and Wyndham residents, businesses and community groups are invited to attend.
The forum, which will revolve around the council’s plans for the CBD, is the first of the city’s Open Community Forums.
The forum will feature displays showing what is planned for the Werribee City Centre.
Wyndham mayor, John Menegazzo, said the forum would give people a visual idea of what was planned for the future of Werribee.
“This forum gives us an opportunity to engage with the community and spread the word about the vision we have for Werribee CBD,” Cr Menegazzo said.
Cr Menegazzo said that residents will also be given the opportunity to ask questions of councillors and council staff.
“As the fastest growing municipality in Victoria, creating a vibrant and attractive focal point for residents and businesses is essential and this forum will showcase just what we have in store,” Cr Menegazzo said.
The forum will be held on Monday 31 January from 7pm at the Wyndham Cultural Centre.
