Chess time

IT WAS a case of checkmate last week at Werribee Primary School. Playing chess during lunchtimes has become so popular among pupils, including Ethan, left, and Zane, that the school does not have enough chess sets for all the youngsters to use. Teachers have appealed for anyone with complete chess sets, which they no longer want, to donate them to the school. If residents would like to give a chess set to the school, they can be dropped off at reception in Deutgam St, Werribee, during school hours. 65111 IT WAS a case of checkmate last week at Werribee Primary School.
