JULIA Gillard has triumphed over her political nemesis Kevin Rudd and she will remain Prime Minister. Ms Gillard chalked up 71 votes while Mr Rudd received 31. It was the largest winning margin in a Labor leadership ballot in 30 years. Ms Gillard said she would now be focussing on uniting the Labor Party and defeating Tony Abbott at the next election.
