Reece cuts a surprise visit

HE MIGHT never have heard of Werribee before, but Australian pop music sensation and teen idol Reece Mastin has vowed to come back to the suburb after visiting it in unusual circumstances last week.
Mr Mastin was in Werribee last Monday as part of his Live and Lost tour.
Earlier in the day he was dropped at Jan Juc beach with only $50 in his bank account and the mission of having to return to Sydney for a performance in just five days.
He would be given no more money to help him along his way and as such would rely on the generosity of fans to give him lifts or a place to sleep.
One of his fans challenged Mastin to cut her grandfather’s hair at Werribee hairdressing business, Salon Vogue.
The winner of last year’s TV talent show X Factor, Mastin told Star last week he had fallen in love with Werribee.
“I’ve never heard of Werribee before but after being here I kind of want to come back on my next tour,” Mastin said.
“I don’t know where I’m going or what I’m doing with this tour but I’m loving it.”
Tony Schwarzenberg was the lucky test subject of Reece’s hairdressing skills and said that not only did he think he had done a decent job, but that he had made him a hero to his granddaughter.
