HORSES and their loving riders made the pilgrimage to Werribee earlier this month as the annual Barastoc Horse of the Year show rode into town. The competition was organised by Equestrian Victoria at the Werribee Equestrian Centre from 13 to 17 February and saw showcase riders from throughout Australia and international judges, such as England’s David Hibberd, attend. After five days of competition the Horse of the Year was eventually announced as Willowcroft Chance Encounter, which was owned by Jamie Carson and ridden by Courtney Remington. 94390 Picture: Naomi Gillespie, Equine Image Photography
