Teenager injured

A WYNDHAM teenager received serious head injuries after she fell off an unroadworthy motorcycle while not wearing a helmet earlier this month.
Leading Senior Constable Dawn Youla placed a public message on Wyndham Police’s new Eyewatch facebook page, calling on the community to play it safe on local roads.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday 1 June, saw the 16-year-old girl taken to hospital, where her condition has since stabilised.
The unlicensed 17-year-old male driver was charged over the incident.
“This is a reminder to all how easily that two or more lives can be altered, possibly forever, as a result of a series of poor choices,” Leading Sen Const Youla said.
Anyone that witnesses dangerous driving should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
