POLICE have named the man arrested over the shooting death in Hoppers Crossing.
Harley Munt appeared before an out-of-sessions court hearing where he was remanded in custody to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
Homicide Squad detectives charged Mr Hunt, 22, on Wednesday 28 August following the discovery of a man’s body in Strang St street nine days earlier.
He was charged with one count of manslaughter.
A 30-year-old man was found dead on a footpath outside his own house in Strang St at about 1.45am on 19 August. At the time, it was believed to be linked to a robbery that went wrong.
