SHE may only be 19-years-old but Werribee’s Chloe Jackson already has her sights set at the top.
The university student hopes to become a paramedic once she finishes her degree, but in the meantime she is busy winning titles as a fitness model.
Last month she took to the stage in her first ever fitness model competition, the Australasian Natural Body Building Victorian Championships, where she took out first place in her age group.
Before becoming a fitness model Chloe competed in aerobic gymnastics for eight years and won the national championships in the sport.
Around four months ago she walked into Muscle Pump Supplements in Werribee where she met the owner Jafar Mohseni.
He convinced her to give fitness modelling a go and offered to train her.
Since then she has never looked back and now she even works at his new Williamstown store.
Ms Jackson said her months of diet and exercise now felt worth it after winning her first competition.
“I honestly didn’t expect to win. I didn’t even think I would make it into the top five so it was a really big surprise,” Ms Jackson said.
“I was really scared and really nervous, but it was also the best day of my life. It was worth all the effort, time and money.
“The dieting was the hardest part because you just want to eat cookies and chocolate, but I guess it’s an important part of it.”
She is now working towards competing in national competitions and one day she hopes to step it up a level to body building.
