Pedestrian killed

POLICE are investigating the cause of a fatal crash in Little River last week which claimed the life of a male pedestrian.
In the early hours of Sunday 9 February it is believed a bus was travelling outbound on the Princes Freeway, towards Geelong, when a dispute between passengers occurred.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said three men believed to be involved in the dispute exited the bus when it pulled over to the side of the road.
“The trio began walking along the freeway when it appears another dispute took place,” the spokesperson said.
“One of the men crossed onto the wrong side of the road and was struck by a blue sedan, which was travelling inbound on the freeway.”
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The male driver of the blue sedan was uninjured and as of last week he was assisting police.
The other two men were also assisting police with their enquiries.
