WYNDHAM’S furry, slimy, scaly and feathery residents are getting ready for a big day out, with the Wyndham Pet and Animal Expo only weeks away.
The Civic Centre will be crawling with animals on Sunday 6 April when the free expo takes place.
The event features a range of products and services including microchipping and registration, a petting zoo, face painting, pony rides, reptile displays, workshops, demonstrations and a special appearance by Chris Humfrey and the team from Wild Action.
Councillor Glenn Goodfellow said the event had something for the whole family.
“Whether you have a single goldfish or a farm full of alpacas, you’re looking at expanding your brood or getting your first pet, the Expo has something for everyone,” Cr Goodfellow said.
“People can come along and get advice on everything from dog obedience to how to keep chickens. The Pet and Animal Expo is also a great place for those looking at getting a pet to discuss the different possibilities with the experts, before taking that big step.”
