POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a violent assault at a Werribee nightclub left three men with serious head injuries.
Detective Senior Constable Brett Sniegowski from the Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit said the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Sunday 16 October.
Det Sen Const Sniegowski told Star it was believed that a fight on a dance floor at Mynt Lounge nightclub on Watton St in Werribee was the catalyst of the assault.
“There was an altercation on the dance floor and a group of people were subsequently removed from the nightclub,” Det Sen Const Sniegowski said.
“It is then alleged that the three victims have been assaulted by a large group of males, leaving them with head injuries.”
