AUSTRALIA Day is important to many Wyndham residents, including the children born in our lucky country. Werribee sisters Mercedes, Saffron and Luella were happy little Vegemites last week, as they prepared for the annual commemoration of the First Fleet’s arrival on Thursday. Wyndham Council will stage celebrations at the Werribee South foreshore from 6pm, with fireworks beginning at dusk.
