FOOTSCRAY MP Marsha Thomson is the State Government’s new parliamentary secretary.
Premier Steve Bracks made the announcement last Thursday that Ms Thomson would assist him on matters relating to his duties.
Ms Thomson will also take on the role of parliamentary secretary to Arts Minister Lynne Kosky.
“Marsha Thomson is a senior member of the Government and her experience across a number of portfolio areas will be a great asset to my office,” Mr Bracks said.
Mr Bracks said Ms Thomson replaced Elaine Carbines as his parliamentary secretary following her unsuccessful candidature for the Western Victoria Region.
