EQUIPMENT valued at more than $100,000 was stolen from a Truganina construction site between 18 and 20 February.
Unknown offenders stole earth-moving equipment from the Leakes Rd location, about 100 metres west of Palmers Rd.
The burglars shifted some temporary fencing and drove their vehicles onto the building site, before removing some metal excavator covers.
The thieves then used the excavator to steal mud, digging and service buckets, a five tonne hammer and compaction wheels from around the site.
They loaded the objects onto their truck, or a similar type of vehicle, and left the scene.
All stolen items had the initials ‘MFJ’ and ‘AE’ on the plates.
