HIGHPOINT Shopping Centre had one of the 21 cooling towers that were tested for the legionella bacteria.
A centre spokeswoman said: “As per our stringent management procedures, Highpoint Shopping Centre conducts regular testing of the centre’s cooling towers.
“We continue to work with the Department of Human Services for further testing, however, we can confirm that no positive legionella counts have been registered in 2007.
“This is consistent with the findings of the Department of Human Services.”
