MID North Coast Music Eisteddfod is very excited to welcome star actress Elisa Colla to its judging panel in Port Macquarie.
Elisa, who played Wicked’s younger sister Nessa-Rose in Australia and overseas, is a brilliant young talent who brings a fantastic insight into the world of performing for the Eisteddfod’s competitors.
Elisa graduated from the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) in 2009, with a Bachelor of Music (Musical Theatre), and has received classical and contemporary voice training under Gerry Sword and Margi de Ferranti.
While at AIM she appeared in the musicals Promises, Promises as Vivien Della Hoya, and Peg in Dusty: The Original Pop Diva. Her other musical theatre credits include: Grease, Oklahoma! and Thoroughly Modern Millie, as well as performing in the 2009 season of Short Sweet + Song.
Elisa’s TV appearances include ABC Kids’ Brain-dazzlers’ and singing the National Anthem for the Women’s League Grand Final 2009 broadcast on ABC.
Recent highlights include performing at the ANZ Rob Guest Endowment concert in 2010, Qantas’ 90th Anniversary and the Opera and Arts Group Support Fundraiser.
