Music with meaning

FIVE rising stars of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music will be holding a special concert tonight featuring songs and duets for tenor and baritone and showcasing music for violin, guitar and piano.
Organised by the Conservatorium Mid North Coast, this event will provide the local community with a unique opportunity to experience the sounds of some of the upcoming professional performers of future Australian orchestras.
In charge of the tour is David Miller, one of Australia’s leading pianists, chamber musicians and vocal accompanists. He is also highly regarded as a mentor for young ensemble pianists and repetiteurs.
Miller has been appointed as a member of the Order of Australia for his service to music.
The concert will be held at the St Columba School chapel at 7.30pm tonight.
Entry is $10. Contact Conservatorium Mid North Coast on 0457 266 200 for more information.
