JIM Fischer and Pauline Roods took out the prestigious champion trophies at the Port Macquarie Blue Water Fishing Club’s presentation night.
The highly contested men’s champion trophy now has three different winners over the past four years.
Fischer also took out two best of species awards and the champion boat trophy.
Meanwhile, Roods sent a strong message to the other women in the club, winning the champion trophy in her first year as a member.
A good crowd was at the presentation, including sponsors, past and present members of the club, their families and friends.
The club’s junior encouragement awards went to Kaysie Fancett, Jimmy Liebeck, Izak Fancett, Jayden Smith and Jake Williams.
Champion boat was “Gunna” skippered by Fischer with 132.55 points. The runner-up boat was “Easybeat”, skippered by Geoff Shelton.
The annual Dawn Pardoe Memorial Trophy, which is always hotly contested, was won by Darren Williams, while the Bob Chapman Memorial Trophy was won by Chris King.
