CRICKET
THE Port City Leagues Magpies Cricket Club will hold a registration night at the Port City Bowling Club this Saturday 7 September, from 5pm. The defending 1st and 4th Grade premiers and runners-up in the May Kelly Twenty20 Cup and 2nd Grade competitions invite all past and present players to sign on for an exciting new season and also enjoy a free barbecue and barefoot bowls under lights. Weekday training commences on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 10 September at the Oxley Oval nets from 4.30pm and also on Sunday mornings between 10am and noon on 15, 22 and 29 September. The Leagues Magpies are a family club and is one of the longest running and most successful clubs in the HRDCA with nine first grade premierships. No matter what your age or ability we welcome you to join our ranks and have fun both on and off the field while also working on improving your cricketing skills.
