Japanese touch for a musical wonder

Fasten your rickshaw and head for Japan at The Glasshouse on March 14. Featuring ‘The Mikado’, Morning Music at the Glasshouse is excited to host The Gilbert and Sullivan Company of Australia with their hilarious new version of the Gilbert and Sullivan classic The Mikado.
Following the outstanding success of their hysterical production and world first HMS PINAFORE, the company are returning with a fantastic new treatment of the most popular Gilbert & Sullivan classic of all time.
First performed in 1885, The Mikado has been translated into numerous languages and is one of the most frequently played musical theatre pieces in history.
This performance will have you in gales of laughter with its comedy scenes and musical delights.
With full costume, and scenery painted by Australia’s best, Scenic Studios, the show is a delight to the eyes as well as the ears.
With songs such as “Three Little Maids From School”, “The Sun Whose Rays”, “Here’s A Howdy Do”, and “Tit Willow”,  The Mikado will leave you with a smile on your face and a song in your heart.
