Headline: Shell out for delicious Pipis. Aria Restaurant chef Matt Moran showing the recipes of our less appreciated shellfish, “that were so important for indigenous Australians for centuries”.
Then why are they disappearing? Why are beaches on the Mid-North Coast, Central Coast and Stockton Beach through to Anna Bay being raped?
Where are all the Pipis gone? My indigenous mates haven’t eaten them all. Being a supporter of Fisheries for as long as I can remember, why have they let the pros take the dwindling amount of pipis that are left?
If you don’t stop it now, the pipis will be extinct and then what’s
next? Do the right thing anglers!
