Re Hospital: This is great news for Port Macquarie and should be welcomed. However, voters should not be fooled by the announcement that has been made by the federal government just two weeks before the State election. It is clearly intended to influence your vote. It should be remembered it is the State Government who will build this new facility.
The best value and management will be achieved by a Liberal/National coalition government who are be better project managers than Labor. In other words we will get more money spent on the project than wasted, evidenced by the BER fiasco. At this election we need a change of government; only a vote for Leslie Williams will achieve this. You will then have a have a local voice you can speak to locally, who in turn will be able to speak with ministers and the people that matter in a new Liberal Coalition government.
This is your chance to take back control, think carefully when you vote, please do not waste it.
