Local clubs are offering community groups the chance of funding through the renowned CDSE (Community Development and Support Expenditure)program.
Applications for Category 1 funding are now open to local community groups requiring monetary assistance for programs in 2011.
In 2010 Clubs from Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Laurieton and North Haven, who form the Hastings CDSE Local Committee, united to give away $95,728 to 23 local welfare organisations and community groups.
And this year they are at the ready to help once again.
The Cerebral Palsy Alliance was just one of the 2010 grant recipients.
“Thanks to the donation of $2450 from CDSE we have been able to start our program to build new connections between families and people with disabilities in the Port Macquarie area.”
To obtain an application form, contact your local registered club or visit their website; and for further assistance on completing an application, contact Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.
