Asylum seekers a problem

As usual, I look forward to the Independent every Week for its coverage of everything of interest to us locally and notice with much interest the Letters giving your Readers a say which is what Democracy is all about. I have noticed the concern about the Asylum Seekers’ increasing invasion of our Shores by so many people who have no say on the matter and the huge cost to the Government in billions going to support them,as we see almost nightly on National news, that must be a great strain on the Economy, while at the same time we are told that the numbers of Australian citizens suffering hardship, especially low income families, pensioners and disablled persons are struggling tp pay their bills, and that there are 24000 people in need of accommodation and it will be interesting to know where the Gillard Government will be cutting costs and from where. The other  side of the picture with these Asylum Seekers when eventually released into the  community will be that they will be permanently dependent on Social Security for life as they are unskilled and not of the same beliefs as in all Western Countries, that create violence and street protests as we also see on World National  News that can be related to the violence in Sydney suburbs that can be substantiated by those who have moved away from them . Surely our safety and peaceful Australian  way must be preserved for posterity and in rememberence of those ANZACS on ANZAC Day when it comes each year that gave their lives, that we retain our heritage
This invasion has to be stopped as it has clearly become a racket and bypass other countries of their own beliefs to get here knowing how easy it is to get in, and all the benefits that come with it. All our ancestors had to have papers and pay their way with no handouts, and earned their citizenship and  integrated to become Australians,  many of whom were in the Military Forces during World War two
