Tessa Simpson captured the eye of judges at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney recently.
The Year 12 student from MacKillop Senior College took out one of the top honours at the 2011 Australian Wool Fashion Awards.
Tessa was placed second in the secondary school section and also won a major award, allowing her dream of attending fashion school to be realised.
Her Victorian Derby Day racewear resulted in her winning a three-year, half
fee scholarship to attend North Sydney’s prestige Raffles College of Design & Commerce, worth up to $28,000.
