The musical Sweeney Todd is the first Stephen Sondheim Musical to be put on at the Players Theatre in its history.
Artistic director Hamish Keddie brings together a vast array of experience on this unique “black operatta”.
Students from Port Macquarie High School will also be working backstage to learn the craft and the musical will showcase for the first time (in a lead role) on stage 14-year-old Port Macquarie High School student Jack Titterington.
Hamish Keddie is more than excited at the prospect of having to challenge audiences with this dynamic musical thriller written and composed by the genius of Stephen Sondheim.
The musical will be on from May 6-29, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays, 8pm and Sundays, 2pm.
Book your tickets at the Glasshouse Box Office on 6581 888 or Players Theatre on the Corner of Gordon and Lord Streets (1 hour prior to the show).
