Port Macquarie High School student, Annobel Starr, has been selected for the under 15s State Netball Team.
Annobel has been selected for her skills as ‘goal shooter’ and also as ‘goal keeper. . She is the only girl from the school to be selected.
The team is training to compete against the Independent Schools in either late May or early June.
Annobel also plans on trying out for the All Schools Team which gets to play in the Nationals in Perth later in the year.
“I like playing netball,” Annobel said. “And I don’t mind travelling.
“I’ll certainly be giving it my best effort.
“I have a good balance between sport, school and my musical interests.”
