I would be interested to know if you have had any letters or phone calls about the fact that every school holidays Port Macquarie starts to smell like an open sewer. I had family up from Melbourne over Easter and I’m glad that none of them were smokers because lighting a match may be a near death experience. I have a pictorial book titled Who Farted! that has pictures of movie stars from the black and white movies pulling faces that would fit with the phrase Who Farted!
I’ve been considering sending the editors of that book aerial photos of Port Macquarie to be included in the next edition.
This must be doing our reputation as a tourist destination a lot of good. Forget about catchy slogans like God Lives Here. We could be the Methane Capital of the World.
