Pensioners are struggling to pay electricity, water and gas bills, and in some cases are forced to seek charity to purchase food and clothing and our out of touch and arrogant Julia Gillard considers their greatest need a TV desk set top box. In the 2011 budget she has allocated some $308.8 million for desk top sets whilst some pensioners are unable to afford heating during the winter.
It is unbelievable that a leader of this country can engage in wasteful and reckless spending like the $8 billion she spends on foreign aid, billions more wasted on pink bats, green loans, the BER and illegal boat people whilst pensioners who built this country are offered a $30 desk set top, what an insult to our pensioners.
Sounds like another bad joke Gillard policy.
