Woodwork creations

Hastings Woodworkers Guild will be holding an exhibition at Laurieton United Services Club on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19.
There will be a wide range of wood crafts on display including woodturning, intarsia, clocks, carved items, toy making, musical instruments and pyrography, many items will be for sale.
Live demonstrations of woodturning, scroll sawing, wood carving, intarsia and pyrography will take place throughout the two days and the demonstrators will be pleased to answer any questions relating to their work.
Other crafts on display will be paper tole, opals and fudge as well as a sale of model making goods.
The Guild has worked hard to establish a great centre at Timbertown in Wauchope.
The building now has workshop areas for machinery and work benches, a grand show room, meeting room, kitchen and office.
Guild members have continually contributed to our local community by supporting the Port Macquarie Oncology Unit, Koala Hospital, Camp Quality and the toy library.
Over two years the guild members made more than 600 toys for the CWA to distribute to children in drought affected areas of NSW.
This is a great opportunity to find out more about woodworking and pick up some beautiful craft and to support local crafts.
