‘A Pearl of a Time’ was enjoyed by Port Macquarie Evening VIEW Club members when they celebrated the Club’s 30th anniversary on Wednesday, June 1.
Close to 120 members and guests reminisced on the fun and friendship they have fostered through their monthly dinner meetings, whilst being a valued part of The Smith Family for 30 years.
Fifteen past presidents and visitors from mid-north coast clubs joined guests VIEW National Councillor Dawn Byrne and VIEW Zone Councillor June Greentree in the celebration.
National Councillor Dawn Byrne proudly presented membership decade badges to Jan Petley, 40 years; Elaine Borger, Elaine Scott, Joy Abbott and Sue Jenner, 30 years; Brenda Gilbert, 20 years; and Dot Lunch, Jennifer Brett, Lyn Freeman, and Val Ednie, 10years.
President Meryl Grant thanked and acknowledged the hard work and dedication of members over 30 years.
