A man was stabbed several times during a violent armed robbery in Wauchope last Thursday.
About 9.20pm, three men who had forcibly entered the club on King Street, Wauchope, confronted the 22-year-old male duty manager. The club had just closed.
The men demanded money from the duty manager, and he was struck in the head.
Another one produced a knife, and inflicted deep stab wounds to the man’s forearms, before all three of the offenders fled the scene empty handed.
The victim was discovered five minutes later and an ambulance was called. He was taken to Port Macquarie Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police from Mid-North Coast Local Area Command established a crime scene and are conducting inquiries into the incident.
