Two men have been arrested after allegedly escaping from a correctional facility in Kempsey on Monday.
The two men were arrested by Police from the Mid-North Coast Local Area Command at about 5.15pm on Monday on Dungay Creek Road, Kempsey.
Thirty-three-year-old Mathew Hore and 25-year-old Matthew Farrely escaped from the minimum security facility at about 11am.
The men were charged with Escape Lawful Custody at Kempsey Police Station.
They were refused bail and will appear in Port Macquarie Local Court today.
