Police have arrested and charged a 13-year-old boy with drink-driving on Saturday night near Kempsey.
About 10pm, Police observed a Toyota Cressida driving erratically through a holiday park at Stuarts Point.
Police stopped the car and found the driver to be a young boy, who had a 30-year-old front seat passenger.
The 13-year-old boy was subjected to a roadside breath test which proved positive.
He was arrested and taken to Kempsey Police Station.
A subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.049.
Police have charged the boy from Stuarts Point with numerous offences, including drink-driving and being unlicensed.
He will appear at Kempsey Children’s Court at a date to be confirmed.
The 30-year-old man has also been charged over the incident.

unlicensed driver.
