The BCU Junior Rugby Union Championships took place on Saturday and Sunday in Port Macquarie. U11’s, U12’s and U13/U14’s from the Mid North Coast and Newcastle competed.
The young players played hard and competitively in temperatures that touched 32 degrees Celcius.
The BCU Champions by age group were: U11’s Hunter Barbarians; U12’s Coffs Harbour; and U13/U14’s Dorrigo. Each of the winning team was undefeated across the weekend. Thanks went out to Kempsey, Newcastle Wanderers and Port Macquarie for taking part in the competition.
