Saturday marks the international World Parks Day and to celebrate Sea Acres Rainforest Centre opened its doors to locals, for the first time offering a free yoga class and brunch surrounded by coastal subtropical rainforest.
A partnership between rangers and local yoga instructors, the morning of meditation, relaxation and rejuvenation was just one of the many activities being offered by NSW National Parks around the state.
Local Discovery Rangers were on site to chat to people about the event, why the forest is such a culturally and ecologically important area and the other discovery activities running at the centre throughout the spring and summer months.
