The new parent’s group, Parenting Circle, held at Port Macquarie Community Health Centre was the recipient of some beautiful handmade quilts on Tuesday.
The quilts have been made by two local quilting groups The Inner Wheel and Timeless Quilters over the past few months and were presented to the new parents group during their meeting at the Port Macquarie Community Health Centre.
New Parents Groups are facilitated in the Port Macquarie and Hastings area by the Child and Family Health Nurses and provide an opportunity for parents of young children to get together for an informal chat and morning tea to share experiences, issues and solutions to coping with a new baby.
