AquaSculpture11, Port Macquarie’s biennial sculpture festival, is underway, bringing art to the fore in the region.
The AquaSculpture program of workshops and exhibitions will see an exciting mix of hands-on sculpture experiences culminating in the outdoor exhibition.
From Friday, October 7 to Friday, October 14 there will be Community Sculpture Workshops in the Scouts’ Hall on Hollingworth Street.
Between 10am and 4pm each day, individuals and families can join the three artists in making works for the AquaSculpture exhibitions.
Sculptures will be installed on the Town Green from October 14-15, and will remain until Sunday, October 23. There will also be an exhibition of small sculptures in the Glasshouse from October 18 to 23.
