Ladies, it’s time to party and fundraise for cancer

This October, women from all over the Mid-North Coast region will get together at Girls Night In events to celebrate the unconditional bond that women share; and raise money to fund new innovations in women’s cancer research and support services.
Girls Night In aims to raise over $5.5 million nationally, so that Cancer Council can reduce the statistic of one in three women being diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
In the Mid-North region alone, more than 270 women are diagnosed with breast or gynaecological cancer each year.
Cancer Council’s Girls Night In is a great excuse to get the girls together while raising awareness and money for all women’s cancers.
A night with the girls can come in many forms, from dinner parties, chick flick nights, craft night, board games, clothes swaps, and pamper nights, but no matter what the activity, the main content of the night will be a great deal of talking, laughter and support. Girls Night In could be deemed therapeutic.
