After six months in the US, it won’t be long before Wil Anderson takes on the whole World.
So, with that in mind, he’s starting by taking on Man.
Socially engaged, politically aware and bloody funny, Wil Anderson is coming to the Glasshouse to perform his award-winning new show, Man vs Wil.
Wil Anderson, host of ABC TV’s The Gruen Transfer and former host of the The Glass House, will be performing in Port Macquarie at 7.30pm on Friday, October 28.
2010 was a pretty big year for Wil, with his Helpmann Award-winning show Wilful Misconduct playing to sellout audiences right across Australia and New Zealand and he was nominated for Most Outstanding Show, and won the People’s Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. 2011 isn’t shaping up too badly either, with Anderson headlining the world famous Hollywood Improv, picking up a second consecutive People’s Choice Award in Melbourne and another Helpmann Award nomination. He has also released a stand-up DVD called Wilosophy.
Wil Anderson’s Man vs Wil will be held at The Glasshouse at 7.30pm on Friday, October 28. Tickets are available for $45 at The Glasshouse, Cnr Clarence and Hay Streets, Port Macquarie or via internet at www.glasshouse.org.au or phone 02 9581 8888.
