The Green Day Out Inc is proud to announce the premiere screening (on the Mid-North Coast) of Anima Mundi, an inspirational environmental documentary, at the Glasshouse on Sunday, October 30 at 2.30pm.
Visually and graphically exceptional, it evokes both the beauty and soul of the planet we live on and its destruction.
The movie presents a broad palette of views and insights from writers, innovative thinkers and activists.
“Anima Mundi — Permaculture, Peak Oil, Climate Change and the Soul of the World is a visually stunning, interesting and informative film that uses a cast of well known and talented writers and activists to discuss ideas as to how mankind must evolve in a world of dwindling resources.
“It is not an alarmist film, but offers helpful suggestions as to what direction we must move if we are to survive as a species.” (Paramount Cinemas, New Zealand).
“We want to give residents of the Hastings and surrounding areas the opportunity to see films that would normally not get shown beyond the capital cities and that explore issues in relation to our health and the health of the planet.
“Anima Mundi is the first of a number of films we hope to bring to the region this year,” Denis Juelicher from the Green Day Out Inc says.
Tickets are available at the Glasshouse Box Office or at www.glasshouse.org.au and are $15 for adults, $10 for concession/child and $35 for a family.
Tickets are limited, so please book early.
The Green Day Out Inc is a non-profit organisation aiming to inspire healthy and sustainable living amongst residents of the Hastings and surrounds.
