About 4.20pm on November 2 Police conducted a Licensing inspection of a club in Telegraph Point.
Whilst talking to staff a 45-year-old male became abusive towards Police.
He was spoken to and, due to his alleged state of intoxication, he was asked to leave the premise.
He refused and, whilst being arrested, he has struggled and had to be physically removed.
Whilst outside the male has continued to abuse Police and physically resist their attempts to control him. OC spray had to be utilised to subdue the male. He was handcuffed and, with further Police assistance, was conveyed to the Port Macquarie Police Station where he was charged with Excluded Person Fail to Leave Licensed Premises, Resist Arrest and Behave in an Offensive Manner.
He was bailed to appear at the Port Macquarie Police Station on November 28.
